Karni Sena demands resignation of CBFC cheif over Padmavati row

Jaipur Dec 5: The Padmavati Movie controversy has once again erupted as the Rajput community and Karni Sena have once again demanded the Ban on the film even though the Censor Board had agreed to grant a Certificate after certain modifications including the title of the film.

However, the Rajput community was not satisfied by CBFC and they have demanded the resignation of CBFC chief Prasoon Joshi, Smriti Irani Minister for Information and Broadcasting for allowing censor to clear the film.

They have also said that they would once again raise the protests in future if the censor certificate is not revoked. Earlier the film was supposed to be released on Dec 1 but it was postponed.

The film is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and the movie stars Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor, Ranveer Singh in lead roles.
