Venkaiah Naidu :All Members must introspect themselves

New Delhi Jan 5: The Rajya Sabha on Friday was adjourned sine dine and didn't take up the triple talaq bill.Earlier there were reports that a decision in this regard would be reached today but no such scene was witnessed.

Announcing a brief report at the end of session the Chairman M venkaiah Naidu had urged all the members to introspect the way the house proceedings are going on and the members should take a part in immense discussions, deliberations and not disruptions.

He has also congratulated the members for their cooperation in various issues and creating record after 15 years of taking up all questions in a day. He had also hoped that the future sessions would be more productive.

Mr.Naidu added that the house had undertaken a productive discussion on Delhi Air pollution and state
of the Economy.

Earlier the House has bid farewell to the members of three of its veteran members—Karan Singh, Janardan Dwivedi, and Parvez Hashmi, who would be retiring later this month.
