232 Bank APPs Vulnerable to hacking

New Delhi Jan 5: Are you using banking Apps in Mobile be careful.Quick Heal Security Labs has recently published a report and the organization has discovered an Android Banking Trojan that targets 232-plus banking and finance apps. The report states that

Android.banker.A9480 is the malware is designed to steal login credentials, hijack SMSes, show fake notifications, send USSD requests and upload users' contact lists on a malicious server.The security bug imposes an overlay screen on top of legitimate apps to steal confidential user information like internet banking login ID and password.

The report has added that the malware app is being distributed through a fake Flash Player app.Some of the famous Apps that are vulnerable to hacking include apps of Axis Bank, SBI, ICICI, IDBI, HDFC and some other banks.

The report has also said that not only Mobiles but even PCS are also vulnerable to the data theft.
