Missing girl found in red light area after 4 years

Bihar, Jan 04: A girl who went missing four years ago was spotted by her brother in red light area in Bihar's Begusarai district. The brother works with a local ferry company and was searching for her since 4 years and gave information to police as soon as he spotted her.

On receiving the tip-off from him, police raided the area. They got into a scuffle with the manager there and rescued two women – the missing girl and another woman from Gumla in Jharkhand. Investigations revealed that his sister was trapped in Haryana on the pretext of getting a job. The other woman rescued was also honeytrapped and sold off in Bakhri village 10 years ago.

The police arrested two people on charges of indulging in flesh trade while one person managed to escape.
