Rana Daggubati in Summer Race

Hyderabad, Jan 04: Tollywood Ballaladeva Rana Daggubati Rana has commenced work on upcoming Tamil-Telugu bilingual with director Satyasiva.

The film's shoot is currently underway in Karaikudi, and the project also stars Regina Cassandra.

Tipped to be a love story set in the pre-independence era, the film will feature Rana in the role of an Indian National Army soldier.

The Movie is entitled as 1945, Rana plays a soldier of Subhash Chandra Bose's Azad Hind Fauj (Indian National Army). The drama unfolds at the height of Indian freedom movement. Playing the female lead is actor Regina, who will appear in the role of a Chettiar girl, engaged to marry Rana’s character.

Directed by Sathya Siva, 1945 is a bilingual made in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously.

The film hits the screen on Summer 2018.
