World Kickboxing Championship: Kashimir girls Rabia & Aabroo selected

North Kashmir's girls Rabia Riyaz and Aabroo Bashir have been selected for the world kickboxing championship. Both hail from North Kashmir's Bandipora district. The World Kickboxing Championship will be held in Argentina later this year.

The duo was part of the team that won gold medals at the National Kickboxing Championship, which were held at Patliputra Sports Complex, Patna in Bihar from December 20 to 31st.

The Jammu and Kashmir team won a total of 14 medals, including three gold, five silver and six bronze in the competition.

Apart from Rabia and Aabroo, Hardik Chopra also won a gold medal and has qualified for the International event to be held in Argentina as well.

The World Kickboxing Championship will take place in November, 2018.
