Bad News for Chocolate Lovers

New Delhi, Jan 02: Here is the bad news for Chocolate Lovers as they are not getting enough chocolates in near future.

According to sources, Chocolate is considered the ultimate comfort food and the best way to beat the stress, but experts have warned that it could go extinct soon.

The cacao plants, which are a natural source of chocolate, could disappear by 2050 due to global warming, Business Insider reported.

The cacao plants are struggling to survive and will disappear in around 30 years because of the warmer temperatures and drier weather conditions.

Cocoa trees, from which chocolate is made, will find the weather vagaries too difficult to handle. With the humid rain forest like conditions near equator, considered most favourable for the cacao trees, changing due to global warming, growing the trees could become all the more difficult
