3.2-magnitude earthquake jolts Thane in Maharashtra

Thane, Jan 02: An earthquake hits Maharashtra Thane here on Tuesday Morning, It has 3.2 magnitude on the Richter scale, According to the IMD officials.

According to the believed report of the Indian Meteorological Department, the quake at a depth of 10 km below the surface, was recorded at 2.21 a.m.

The epicenter of the quake was calculated at latitude 19.8 degrees north and 73.1 degrees east, falling in Thane region.

Imd officials said that There are no reports of any casualties or damage to properties.
