US Consul-General Hadda takes a ride on Hyderabad metro

Hyderabad, Dec 29: The Consul-General of the United States, Katherine B. Hadda, on Thursday took her first metro train ride along with MD, HMRL, N.V.S. Reddy, and other officials.

She boarded the train at Rasoolpura and traveled up to Mettuguda, a press release from the HMRL said.

She was shown the facilities at the metro stations, the street-level work being done by the HMRL and the facilities inside. Mr. Reddy also explained her the financial model, the engineering and financial innovations of the project.

Ms. Hadda lauded the project and said it was a great addition to the city.
