Swine Flu hits Rajasthan

Rajasthan, December 29: Swine flu one of the dangerous disease in the country, as the number of cases have been increasing in Rajasthan in December month 2017.

According to the analysis report, so far 253 deaths have been reported since the start of this year in the state, an official said on Tuesday.

"From the start of this year till December 26, 253 people have died due to swine flu in the state. Besides this, 3,380 have tested positive for H1N1," an official of the Medical and Health Department official told media.

Arrangements have also been made in hospitals to ensure regular supply of medicines, said Saraf while chairing a review meeting called to review the arrangements to contain the spread of virus in the state.

District hospitals, primary health centres and community health centres have been equipped well with screening facilities. Isolation centres are also being set up at these places.
