Sushma Swaraj to make a statement in parliament  on Family meeting of Jadhav Tomorrow

New Delhi Dec 27: Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Wednesday informed the Parliment that She would make a statement regarding the meeting of family members of Kulbhushan Jadhav in Pakistan on Thursday.

Earlier many members of various political parties, including the Congress, Shiv Sena, Trinamool Congress and AIADMK have raised this issue.

Swaraj, who was present in the House, said a statement on the issue would be made tomorrow. Congress leader in the Lok Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge had demanded that Jadhav should be brought back.



Shiv Sena's Arvind Sawant had raised the issue and said that India should not keep silent in the matter.

Trinamool Congress leader Saugata Roy said that incident should be criticised and demanded that Swaraj should speak on the issue.

earlier The family members of Kulbhushan Jadhav a Former naval officer met him in Pakistan but his wife was put to conditions and she was ordered to remove her mangalsutra, Bindi and her shoes were confiscated.

India had condemned the Pakistani treatment.
