Hyderabad Dec 27: The Telangana irrigation Minister Harish Rao has decided to embark project Nidra from January 2018 to ensure that the projects are completed on time . The Minister has visited the kaleshwaram project site and has reviewed the works of the project
He advised the officials to visit the complete the project by May 31.Under the Project Nidra, the minister would visit all the ongoing projects sites in the state and ensure that the projects are completed on time and he would sleep at the sites and would interact with the officers and local people.
The Minister has also decided to visit the kaleshwaram project every fortnight.the irrigation department has decided to complete the Dindi project, Sitarama lift irrigation project, Rollavagu tank, Sadarmatt barrage, Jawahar –Nettempadu lift irrigation scheme and Indiramma flood flow canal from SRSP, and Mallannasagar Sagar project by 2018 end.
