JEM Terrorist  Noor Mohammad Tantray killed in an encounter

Srinagar Dec 26: Indian Security forces have killed a Most wanted Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorist Noor Mohammad Tantray in an encounter that took place in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday.

Sources said that "The 47-year-old was wanted in various terror incidents earlier this year, including a suicide attack at the BSF camp at Srinagar airport."

Officials have said that "The divisional commander of JeM, Noor Mohammad Tantrey alias Noor Trali, was killed in a gunbattle with security forces in Sambora area of Pulwama and the body of Tantray, who was a little over four feet tall, was recovered along with one weapon this morning."

Sources said The Jammu and Kashmir police have conducted cordon operation in the are upon receiving special inputs and this resulted in a gunbattle between police forces and terrorists and he was killed in the battle.
