Rahul Lifted congress in 2017

Mumbai Dec 24: The Year 2017 would be ending next Sunday and politically Congress has declined once again but there are some signs of revival.

Indian National Congress under the Leadership of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi had lost the assembly elections in ruling states such as Himachal and Uttarakhand.

However, the party had won the Punjab Assembly elections and formed the government in the state after 10 years and defeated the BJP Ally Akali Dal.

However, the party had failed to form governments in Goa and Manipur even though it won majority seats but fell short by few seats of magic figure.

The Party had also put up a tough fight in the Gujarat elections and won 80 seats and the BJP had to work hard especially PM Modi to win the elections.

The party had elected their New President Rahul Gandhi and he has boosted the moral of party workers during the Gujarat Campaign.

Currently, the Party is focussed on retaining Karnataka Assembly next year and has started preparing for 2019 elections.Lets wait whether the new president would achieve success in 2018 or not.
