TTV Dinakaran wins in Bypoll Declares himself as political heir of Jayalalitha

Chennai Dec 24: The counting of RK Nagar Bypoll in Chennai has been completed and Independent candidate and Former AIADMK leader of Sasikala Faction TTV Dinakaran has won the bypoll by 40707 votes
# TTV Dinakaran (Independent): 89,013
# E Madhusudhanan (AIADMK): 48,306
# N Maruthu Ganesh (DMK): 24,651
# NOTA-2,203 voters
# Karu Nagarajan (BJP)- 1,236 votes
Speaking after the victory TTV Dinakaran has said that "he is the 'true political heir' of the late J Jayalalithaa and has vowed to bring down the EPS-OPS government in the state within three months.
The bypoll was conducted after the seat fell vacant due to the demise of former CM Jayalalitha and the bypoll was scheduled in April but it was postponed.
