Rayalaseema Express derails,No causalities found

Nizamabad, Dec 23: In a shocking incident, The three AC coaches of Tirupati-Nizamabad Rayalaseema Express derailed near Chinnapalli Railway Station in Nizamabad district on Saturday.

The reports said that The Rayalaseema Express, that was on the way to Nizamabad from Tirupati, derailed between Indalvai and Sirnapalli stations, in forest area, in Nizamabad district. Fortunately, only one bogie along with the engine derailed.

The incident took place early this morning. However, there were no casualties. The passengers in the AC coach, next to the engine were shelled shocked when the train came to a sudden halt due to the derailment.

Railway officials after receiving the information rushed to the spot and supervising the restoration works.

About 500 meters rail track was damaged, sources said.
Reason for the derailment is being examined, while several trains enroute were canceled.
