Tiger Zinda Hai under attack of protesters after Padmavati

Another film has come under attack of some community group, after Deepika's 'Padmavati' now its 'Tiger Zinda Hai'.

Members of Valmiki community staged protests and burnt effigies of Salman Khan outside cinema halls in Rajasthan on Friday over the alleged use of a derogatory word by the actor during a promotional event.

Clashes and violent protest again movies is becoming a trend with government or Police not taking any strict action against the protesting groups.

At some places, the protesters vandalised properties. Police arrested around 40 protesters.

In Jaipur, the protesters tore posters and film banners at Ankur, Paras and Raj Mandir cinema halls, where Salman-Katrina Kaif starrer 'Tiger Zinda Hai' was screened. In Kota, Valmiki activists broke a glass of Akash Mall where a multiplex is situated.

Last month, the state was roiled by protests by Shri Rajput Karni Sena, which issued death threats to the actors and director of film 'Padmavati', forcing the producers to defer its release.
