22 Yrs old woman set ablaze publicly

Hyderabad, Dec 22: Here is dreadful sadistic incident has occurred while a 22-year-old woman was set ablaze in full public view on Thursday in Secunderabad city of Telangana.

Reportedly, the victim was torched by a man allegedly suspected to be her lover.The empathetic incident took place around evening in Lalaguda area of the city.

According to reports, the accused called the victim at the spot, where he poured kerosene on her and set her on fire.

Soon after committing the heinous act, the accused fled from the spot.

Passersby took quick cognizance and put out the fire.

The woman has suffered 60 percent burns and her condition is said to be critical.She has died while treatment is underway.

The deceased woman identified as Sandhya Rani(22), who resided at Lalguda along with her sister.The accused was arrested and identified as Karthik and suspected to be her lover.

A case under section 307 of IPC & ST/SC Atrocity Act has been registered.

The investigation is underway.
