MS Dhoni, Rohit, Chahal record in India vs Sri Lanka first T20I

Cuttack, December 21: India has beaten Sri Lanka in their First T20I match here at Cuttack on December 21.Here Dhoni has scored brilliant innings which helped India to a big score.

In this match, Dhoni has achieved a rare feat. Mahendra Singh Dhoni (39 not out + 4 dismissals) became the first Indian wicketkeeper to post 35 or more runs and effect four dismissals in the same T20I, joining South Africa's Quinton de Kock (twice) and Pakistan’s Kamran Akmal.

1,502 T20I runs for Rohit Sharma now. He became the 2nd Indian (after Virat Kohli) and 14th overall to the 1,500-run landmark.

1,320 T20I runs for Dhoni now. He went past Suresh Raina (1,307), and is currently at 3rd spot among Indians in terms of runs. The top two are obviously Kohli (1,956) and Rohit (1,520).

MS Dhoni became the second wicketkeeper Pakistan’s Kamran Akmal to affect more than 200 dismissals in T20I.

Yuzvendra Chahal also became the leading wicket-taker in T20Is this year with 19 wickets.
