3 people killed after lorry thrashed in Khammam

Khammam, Dec 21: Here is a tragic road accident has occurred while three persons were killed including a seven-year-old girl in Khammam district on Thursday. The girl was killed on her birthday.

The mishap took place when an over speeding lorry rammed onto pedestrians at Pinapaka in Wyra Mandal. The driver is learned to have been under the influence of alcohol when the tragedy took place.

Three others sustained severe injuries and rushed to a local government hospital.

Police have registered a case and taken the driver into custody. Further details yet to be revealed.
