Nitin Gadkari :Polavaram project would be completed by 2019

New Delhi Dec 20: In a move of assurance to Andhra Pradesh people Union minister Nitin Gadkari has said that the Polavaram project would be completed by 2019.

Speaking in Parliament Gadkari has said that the central government would complete the Polavaram project by 2019 and funds would be allocated in time.

He added that I would be visiting the site on Dec 22 and ensure that works are completed on time.Later he added that we are working on interlinking of Godavari and Cauvery river so that Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamilnadu would be benefitted.

Gadkari has said that "Pattiseema project has saved 150 TMC of water from flowing into the sea and the Polavaram project would save more water from flowing into the sea".
