Rajya Sabha  Chairmain :Questions should be crisp and answers sharp

New Delhi Dec 20: Indias Vice President and Rajya Sabha Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu is showing his mark in the ensuring that Rajya Sabha functions smoothly and the house utilizes the time properly.

The Chairman had suggested the members that "Questions should be crisp and answers sharp and to the point".
He added that this would ensure that question hour can be better utilized.

Mr. Naidu has made the suggestion as some members some of them asked lengthy questions and the ministers also replied lengthily.He said that a decision in this regard was taken by the Business Advisory Committee.

He added that BAC had requested him to ensure that at least 10 questions are taken up during the question hour.Earlier he also suggested the members to end usage of colonial terms such as Beg.
