Dattatreya urges CM KCR for BC Reservations in Private Sector

Hyderabad, Dec 18: Complimenting Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for taking initiative to focus on the Backward Class welfare former Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya here on Sunday said that political reservations to the minorities was unconstitutional particularly in BC(E) quota and hampering the interests of BCs which should be deleted.

In his letter addressed to the Chief Minister, Dattatraya said the jobs in government sector are vastly shrinking and while the private sector is rapidly growing.

BCs have a reservation in public sector and given the situation of the public sector, the future employment potential for BCs look very bleak, he said and requested the Chief Minister to the conider reservation of BCs in private sector also.
