Himachal CM Virbhadhra Singh Takes responsibility of congress defeat

Himachal Dec 18: BJP had won in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh and the party workers have celebrated all across the country.However, the Congress has lost a ruling state in the country because of corruption issues.

HP chief Minister Virbhadra Singh has said that "I accept the victory of BJP. I was the Chief Minister, I was leading the party here so I take responsibility of our performance"

He added that "the setback we received is because we didn't have resources to contest elections." CMs son Vikramaditya Singh has won his first election.

The BJP had won 44 seats in the state out of 68 seats . earlier PM Modi had campaigned in the state and assured the state would be developed rapidly in BJP rule and the Congress government is corrupt as there are allegations of corruption against present CM.
