Shiv Sena Lauds Congress President Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi, December 18: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ally Shiv Sena on Monday praised the newly appointed Congress president Rahul Gandhi for fighting the Gujarat battle without worrying about the outcome.

They also said that whatever the results of Gujarat polls are, the country has witnessed the rise of a new Rahul Gandhi.

Uddhav Thackeray said that the ones who believe that nothing has happened in last few years could be fools of top order (Moorkh shiromani).

"When the faces of bigwigs (in the BJP) were turning black due to fear of defeat, Rahul Gandhi was in the poll arena without bothering about the result. It is this confidence that will take Rahul forward," it said.
