BJP Holds Onto Gujarat In Close Fight

Gujarat, December 18: Leads are in for all of Gujarat's 182 assembly seats and the BJP looks good to win Gujarat again, but with a lower margin as the Congress gives it a tough fight

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday flashed the victory sign as he entered Parliament with the BJP poised to win elections in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh.

As Modi alighted from his car, he didn't speak but greeted the media with folded hands and then flashed the victory sign before entering the House.

A party needs to win 92 seats to form government in Gujarat, the BJP is leading in over 100. In Himachal Pradesh, the BJP will form government with a solid win, snatching another state from the Congress.
