Fukrey Returns collects Rs 59.01 crore; Rs 65 crore till weekend

The sequel of movie Fukrey is creating buzz at box office with its collection increasing with passing days.

Fukrey Returns hit the theatres on December 8. The movie stars Varun Sharma, Manjot Singh, Richa Chadha, Ali Fazal and Pulkit Samrat.

The collection of the movie is 59.01 crore till now.

Tweeting the latest box office figures of Fukrey Returns Taran Adarsh wrote, "#FukreyReturns witnesses MASSIVE GROWTH [55.59%] on Sat... Expected to score BIG numbers on Sun… Should touch/cross Rs 65 cr by Weekend 2… [Week 2] Fri 3.31 cr, Sat 5.15 cr. Total: Rs 59.01 cr. India biz."

Fukrey returns is expected to collect Rs65 crore by the end of this week.

The movie got an added advantage as no other noteworthy movie is playing in the theatres.

Fukrey Returns producer Farhan Akhtar also expressed his elation over the film's success at a recent event and said, "I am very happy with the way the audience has received Fukrey Returns. It's been a week and the film has performed very well. In this week also, there is no major film releasing. We feel that the film will have a very good run at the box office. It’s been a very very healthy first week."
