Dhadak movie- Names of Jhanvi and Ishaan revealed; KJo posts new pic

It has been a month since Karan Johar unveiled the first posters of Dhadak, but the excitement has not died down. Karan took to Twitter to tease fans by sharing a still from the film, which will mark the debut of Sridevi's daughter Janhvi Kapoor opposite Shahid Kapoor's brother Ishaan Khatter.

He captioned the picture, "Janhvi and Ishaan in #Dhadak...shoot progressing rapidly! Directed by @ShashankKhaitan releasing 6th July, 2018!"

Karan also revealed the names of Jahnvi and Ishaan's charatcers in the film- Pari and Madhur.

Dhadak is inspired by the Marathi blockbuster Sairat, which revolves around the theme of inter-caste love and honour killing, and Janhvi and Ishaan's intense look in the still fits right in. While Sairat was set in the interiors of Maharashtra, Dhadak will be set in Rajasthan.
