TPCC leaders celebrate Rahul Gandhis elevation

Hyderabad Dec 16: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) leaders on Saturday had celebrated the crowning of Congress new president Rahul Gandhi .The leaders have busted crackers and distributed sweets at Gandhi Bhavan .

On the occasion, CLP deputy leader in the Legislative Assembly K Jana Reddy, Rajya Sabha MP Renuka Chowdary, former MP Ponnam Prabhakar and other youth Congress leaders participated on the ocassion.

"Under Rahul's able and dynamic leadership, the Congress will regain its past glory in the entire country, I strongly feel that in 2019 elections, the Congress will come back to power"Jana Reddy said.

. "It is a historical occasion as Rahul Gandhi has become a youth icon. We all are confident that he will take the party to greater heights," Renuka Chowdhary said.

Meanwhile TPCC president Uttam Kumar Reddy and few other leaders went to Delhi to greet the new AICC president. Nalgonda legislator and party senior leader Komatireddy Venkat Reddy attended the function at Delhi.

"Sonia Gandhi is a goddess for Telangana people. A real gift will be given to her by bringing the party to power in 2019 elections," Reddy said.
