E-VISA Facility opened in Vizag Airport

Vizag Dec 16: In a Major relief for passengers the central government has given nod to accord e-visa for Visakhapatnam airport. Andhra Pradesh Tourism Minister Bhuma Akhilapriya has said that "the union government gave it's nod to the issuance of e- Visa facility in Visakhapatnam airport. "

She has said that "The facility will help tourists coming from abroad to get the visa on arrival at the airport. "Currently E-Visa is applicable in 16 airports of the country.



Akhilapriya has added that "The Chief Minister spoke to Union Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of External Affairs thrice regarding this.Now that it is sanctioned, we can expect more foreign investments and tourists in Andhra Pradesh. Tourists from 147 countries can directly reach Visakhapatnam due to visa-on-arrival facility and I thank the Central Government for sanctioning this to Vizag."

The facility has been opened from Saturday.
