North east fund package extended till 2020

New Delhi Dec 15: The union cabinet under the chairmanship of PM Modi had taken some crucial decisions. The decisions were briefed to the media by law minister Ravi Shankar Prasad.

National Ayush Mission extentention: The cabinet had approved the extension of the scheme which provides alternative health care from April 2017 to March 2020. Rs 2400 crore has been allocated for the scheme.The funds would be utilized for upgradation of hospitals, training, modification of drug labaratories.

Releif for north east: The cabinet had approved the Non lapsable cenral pool of funds for north east from April 2017 to March 2020. Rs 5300 cr has been outlayed .

Northeast special infrastructure development Fund has been approved : The special fund has been extended until March 2020 .The Fund would be utilized for physicl infrastructure, water supply, power, connectivity, tourism, healthcare and education

Approval for setting up 4 industrial clusters in north east.
