Parliament winter session started

New Delhi, December 15: The winter session of the Parliament started today, is scheduled to end on 5 January 2018.

Speaker Sumitra Mahajan has sworn in the newly elected members of the Lok Sabha. Subsequently, Mr. Modi introduced new members to the Lok Sabha.



Speaking on the occasion, Modi said that all the members would cooperate in keeping the parliamentary sessions smooth and the government would introduce key bills to the House. Modi wants to have a constructive discussion on all issues.

" We look forward to having innovative arguments and a fruitful session," PM Modi said before the start of the Winter Session.
