Election Commision Announces Schedule For Kurnool MLC Election

Kurnool, December 14: Election Commission announces the schedule for MLC by-elections in Kurnool with the resignation of Shilpa Chakrapani Reddy who joined in YCP.

Election notification will be released on 19th this month. The last date for nominations was decided as 26th December.

The election will be held on January 12. About 1,084 local body representatives will cast their vote in the election.



Counting of votes will be held on January 16. Elections code in the poll-bound Kurnool district has come into force with immediate effect.

It is known that TDP MLC Shilpa Chakrapani Reddy resigned the party before Nandyal By-elections and joined YCP influenced by his brother Shilpa Mohan Reddy who lost in the election.
