Rohit Sharma breaks Sachin Record

Mohali, December 13: Indian Hitman Rohit Sharma has smashed the Lankan Bowlers here in an ODI Match against Sri Lanka here at Mohali on Wednesday.

He registered yet another double century and this is the third double century for the batsmen. Earlier he made 209,264 runs respectively.

Here he broke the record master blaster in terms of Most sixes in the calendar year.Previously Sachin Tendulkar holds the record as 40 sixes in a single calendar year, now the record has smashed by Rohit and produces 41 sixes in the single year.

Rohit also in 3 rd place in terms of most ODI 100 in a calendar year joins with Kohli, while Sachin on top of the list with 9 ODI sixes.
