Union Minister assures to sanction Rs 2.60 crore for NIIT

Amaravati, Dec 13: The Union Human Resource Development minister Prakash Javadekar will visit Andhra Pradesh to look into works of the NIIT at Tadepalligudem in West Godavari district.

The Centre agreed to sanction Rs 2.60 crore to the institute. Minister for endowments Pydikondala Manikyala Rao said that he met the Union Minister in New Delhi and requested him to sanction funds for NIIT and some other educational institutions sanctioned as part of AP Reorganisation Act.

Manikyala Rao said the Union Minister responded positively and gave assurance for extending all possible help for early completion of the colleges.

"Javadekar has given assurance to sanction Rs 2.60 crore for NIIT and Rs 60 lakh will be sanctioned under phase-1," he said.
