Mumbai, December 12: Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have finally tied the knot in Italy away from media glare and fanfare.

It was on Friday that they flew off to the European country along with their families, and finally managed to pull off a near-secret wedding in Tuscany.

Here is the reason for why the duo went to Italy to get knot together, as Aditya Chopra who advised Anushka to get married in Italy.

Earlier Aditya Chopra and Rani Mukerji were also tied the knot in Italy.

A source close to Adi says, It was his idea that Anushka and Virat have their wedding in Italy. He warned them that a desi wedding would turn into a tamasha with paparazzi and gatecrashers.
