Rajinikanth's Kaala Second look released

Chennai, Dec 12: On the occasion of Superstar Thalaiva Rajinikanth Birthday, His upcoming flick Kaala's second poster was released by the makers at midnight on Monday.

Dhanush shared the second poster and wrote on the wall of Twitter, "Here you go !! The king of style our Superstar’s "kaalaa" 2nd look. #theswagofsuperstar #kaalaa #happybirthdaythalaiva."

Rajini is seen sporting a pair of sunglasses and a salt and pepper look.Rajinikanth's fans are going gaga on social media as the poster release also coincides with the star's birthday.

The first teaser look was released in May this year. Kaala Karikaalan is being bankrolled by Rajini’s son-in-law and Kollywood star Dhanush's production house Wunderbar Films.



In the director's chair is the man who directed Rajini's 2016 film Kabali, writer-director Pa. Ranjith. Apart from Thalaiva Rajinikanth, the film has other star casts as Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi, Nana Patekar, Anjali Patil, and Samuthirakani in supporting role.

Based on news reports that said the Kaala Karikaalan would be based on the life of Haji Masthan, his foster son Sundar Shekar Mishra sent a notice to the makers a few days ago. Wunderbar Films, however, issued a statement and clarified that his upcoming project is not based on the life of Haji Masthan.

Kaala traces his journey to becoming the righteous gangster from the Dharavi slums in the financial capital of the country.

Besides Kaala, Rajinikanth will also be seen in Shankar's directorial venture 2.O in which Akshay Kumar is playing antagonist whereas, Amy Jackson is playing the female lead.
