2 killed after tractor overturned

Nellore, Dec 11: Here is ghastly incident has occurred while two persons were killed and another sustained severe injury when a brick-laden tractor overturned at Kondagunta in Gudur mandal on Saturday.

The details reported that, The deceased was identified as Naresh and Venkata Krishnaiah. The injured was shifted to Gudur Area hospital.

According to sources, 5 workers who were from Pudi village in Tottambedu Mandal of Chittoor district have been working as daily wage workers at a bricks manufacturing unit in Srikalahasti.

While they were shifting bricks to Gandhi Nagar in Gudur rural mandal for house construction purpose, the driver lost control over the tractor at a dangerous curve at Kondagunta.

Passersby, who observed the mishap, informed to the local police. Gudur rural police rushed to the spot and shifted the dead bodies to Gudur Area Hospital for post-mortem. A case was registered, and the investigation is on.
