Kohli-Anuskha Wedding: Only 2 Cricketers Invited?

Mumbai, Dec 10: The Speculations over the alleged wedding plans of Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma have been doing rounds on the internet.The latest talks being associated with the subject are that Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh are the only two cricketers who have been invited to the couple’s marriage ceremony in Milan.

As per reports, Kohli has only been able to invite two of his closest allies – Tendulkar and Yuvraj – and considering the ongoing India vs Sri Lanka ODI series, it absolutely makes sense since the Indian captain wouldn’t have been able to invite other cricketers to the wedding because of their on-field commitments.

The report further revealed that the complete wedding planning was done 3-4 months ago and both families have been wanting to keep it a low-key affair."Everything was decided almost 3-4 months ago. The priest picked up the December wedding and they wanted to keep it low key. Both the families sat together and laid down the plan of how they want to do it," the source revealed.

There have also been reports that Anushka has sent VVIP invitations to some of her closest friends in the industry like her first hero Shah Rukh Khan, YRF head Aditya Chopra who had launched her, Band Baaja Baaraat director Maneesh Sharma as well as her PK co-star Aamir Khan.

Talks have also emerged of the couple throwing a grand reception in Mumbai, on either December 21 or 22, where the entire cricketing fraternity, as well as Anushka's colleagues from Bollywood, will be in attendance but it remains to be seen if there would be late changes in the schedule considering the Indian cricket team plays their last T20 against Sri Lanka on December 24 in Mumbai.
