East Godavari, Dec 10: Here is ghastly incident has occurred while four persons, including a couple, were killed when an auto collided with a tipper lorry on NH-16 near Kattipudi Junction of East Godavari on Saturday.
The details reported that, the auto with 11 persons, most of the parents visiting their children in a residential school in Jaggampaeta, collided with the tipper when it crossed the village limits and entering the NH.
While Nelapti Srinivas (35) and his wife Nagalakshmi (32) died on the spot, Macharla Lova (40) succumbed to injuries while being shifted to hospital in Tuni, and Badda Chandrasekhar (40) died in Kakinada government hospital, where he was admitted.
According to government hospital Superintendent Raghavendra Rao, the condition of Battula Subhashini and Macharla Simhachalam is said to be critical.
