Telangana tops in Amrut scheme across the Country

Hyderabad, Dec 09: The Telangana State Stands first in the implementation of Amrut scheme in the country, announced by Secretary for Municipal Administration and Urban Development Navin Mittal on Friday.

Giving a power point presentation at a national workshop in New Delhi on the implementation of Amrut scheme by the State government, he said the State was ranked first in the DPR approvals and contracts awarded in Amrut project due to its perfect implementation.

The workshop presided by the Union Urban Development Minister Hardeep Puri, discussed the steps to be taken to expedite the works under Amrut and Smart City Mission.

Mittal also explained the various initiatives taken up towards developing the Bhadrakali lake under the Warangal Smart City Mission as a part of the Amrut scheme.
