Telangana IT Minister KTR inaugurates Gamer Connect 2017

Hyderabad, Dec 09: The Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao has inaugurated the Gamer Connect 2017 hosted by NVIDIA here on Saturday.
Announcing the IMAGE Tower for animation, multimedia to be launched by 2020 in Hyderabad, KTR even participated in some of the games on display at the event including the gaming chair developed by Sony Play Station and VR Everest headset that took him on a trek to Mt Everest.
Speaking at the event, he said that the Telangana government is keen to develop the gaming industry and is at the forefront of launching the IMAGE Tower.
The Minister went on to said that the focus will be on the new wave of technology which will make Hyderabad the epicenter of the creative industry.
The Gamer Connect event witnessed 100 demo stations showcasing latest games from Call of Duty WW II, Middle Earth: Shadow of War, Destiny 2, NFS Payback and Assassin's Creed Origins.
