Modi has tweeted that "Birthday greeting to Congress President Smt. Sonia Gandhi. I pray for her long life and good health."

Many Congress leaders have also greeted her and extended their blessings of living a long life. there are reports that the leader is facing serious health problems and she was admitted in a hospital recently.

Sonias Son Rahul Gandhi would be officially declared as the party president on Dec 11.
