KCR :2 TMC must be lifted from Godavari by next Monsoon

Delhi Dec 9: Telangana CM KCR on Friday continued to review the ongoing work progress of kaleshwaram project and has visited the package 6 of Kaleshwaram project at Medaram in Pedapalli district and package 8 at Ramadugu in Karimnagar district. He has reviewed the works of construction of tunnels, pump houses, surge pools, sub-stations and switch yards.

He urged the officials to ensure that " all the works to be done simultaneously and gave suggestions in this regard to the officials, engineers, and representatives of the working agencies and ordered that all the works to be over by next summer and keep everything ready for lifting water from Godavari river."

Finally, CM had said that he would conduct a full-length review of the project in Pragathi Bhavan on Saturday and urged all the officials to attend the review meeting.
