GST Anti profiteering form released

New Delhi Dec 7: In a move to ensure that Companies pass on tax benefits under the GST regime the central government has recently constituted National Anti profiteering Authority . The Authority has recently released a Anti-Profiteering Application Form (APAF - 1) by which customers can file complaints.

The form contains the details such as general information such as name, details, and other details regarding the Goods/services such as sale price (pre-GST and post GST), taxes levied on the product (pre GST and post GST), general information about the supplier details of reduction in tax rate/benefit of input tax credit among others

Finally the form also contains the details of the central standing committee on anti-profiteering. earlier the government has reduced the tax rates of 200 items and urged the companies to pass on tax benefits.
