India VS Sri Lanka: Match Drawn, India Clinch Series

New Delhi, December 06: India has won the test series and the third and final Test against Sri Lanka at the Ferozeshah Kotla was drawn on Wednesday and also the Team India has registered a record ninth straight series win.

Chasing 410 to level the series, Sri Lanka finished on 299-5 to secure their second draw of the series. Dhananjaya de Silva was the top scorer for the tourists with a defiant 119 before retiring hurt while Ravindra Jadeja (3-81) was the pick of the Indian bowlers.

Roshen remained unbeaten on 74 while stumper Niroshan Dickwella was on 44 when the match ended.

With this, India clinched the three-Test against the islanders 1-0 and also equalled Australia's record of nine consecutive series wins from 2005 to 2008.
