KTR urges HMR to complete Ameerpet-Hitech city route by June 1

Hyderabad Dec 6: Telangana IT minister KTR has reviewed the ongoing works of the metro project which was inaugurated last week.During the review, he has directed the HMR and L & T officials to complete the remaining stretch of the corridor -3 i.e Ameerpet-Hitech city by June 1.

He had also enquired the possibility of increasing the train frequency and the officials have said that a decision in this regard would be taken after reviewing the passenger response till February. The Minister had also urged the officials to create drinking water and toilet facilities at the metro stations so that people can travel comfortably.

Later he has said that HE would urge TSRTC to run more feeder buses from metro to nearby colonies so that parking problem can be solved to some extent.Finally, he has urged the officials to complete 66 km of the project by Nov 2018.
