Trump supports Roy Moore even after sexual abuse of child alligations

Trump has supported Roy Moore an Albama Senate candidate who was embroiled in sexual abuse of child allegations.

"We need Republican Roy Moore to win in Alabama," he said in a tweet. The White House confirmed Mr Trump's endorsement.

Much of the Republican establishment have distanced themsleves after the allegations but Trump has openly showered his support on Moore.

Roy Moore has denied the allegations and said that they are a "witch hunt".

"Democrats refusal to give even one vote for massive Tax Cuts is why we need Republican Roy Moore to win in Alabama," he said.
