KCR :President,Vice President to attend World Telugu Conference

Hyderabad Dec 5: In a move to oversee the arrangements for the forthcoming World Telugu Conference Telangana Cheif Minister KCR has appointed a Cabinet Sub Committee. The Committee would be headed by Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari, will have Ministers Azmeera Chandulal, Tummala Nageswara Rao, and KT Rama Rao as members.

The committee mandate is to monitor the arrangements in coordination with the Sahitya Akademi and other organizations ahead of the five-day event scheduled to commence on December 14.

Earlier CM had reviewed the arrangements made and has instructed organizers to conduct literary and musical programmes at the main venue and the venue must be surrounded with food courts serving Telangana delicacies, book stalls, handicrafts exhibition and archaeological exhibition stalls.

He instructed officials to deck up the venue with the cut-outs of Telugu literary personalities and urged that Telugu film music concert to be organized during the celebrations.

CM had also instructed the officials to conduct literary and musical events at all venues during the conference parallelly and ordered Police department to deploy adequate security forces because Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu would inaugurate the function and President Ramnath Kovind would attend the valedictory ceremony.

Various department officials have attended the review meeting.
