Ration Shop Dealers clear the Dues,strike called off

Hyderabad Dec 5: The Fair Price (FP)/ration dealers have called off the strike after a warning was issued by the Telangana Chief Minister KCR. Earlier CM has ordered the removal of FP dealers who were unwilling to pay and urged officials to arrange for other modes of supply of essentials in the State to avoid any difficulties for beneficiaries.

Earlier the Ration dealers have announced a strike from Dec 1 as the The Commissioner for Civil Supplies CV Anand had warned to seize the assets of dealers if they fail to pay the arrears worth Rs 128 crore.

Civil supplies officials have said that "more than 16,000 dealers have made their payments. Of the total 17,200 dealers, All the dealers
who had earlier refused to pay up have now submitted their DDs."
